MEET THE TEAM

Pastors Martyn & Sue Sullivan are graduates of Mattersey Hall Bible College and have been in full-time Christian leadership since 1991. In 1993 they became the senior leaders of St Luke's Church and under their leadership the church has undergone significant changes. As well as a growing congregation St Luke's ministry now extends to a full daycare nursery, charity shop and youth projects as well as recording and media studios ....

Martyn and Sue have been married for nearly 30yrs and together they have ministered in Europe and Africa and America ..

Pastor Steve Ward and his wife Shelley were brought up in South Elmsall, They joined the church in 2004 and took over the leadership of the youth projects in 2007. In August 2010 Steve was appointed as assistant pastor.

Steve and Shelley are also graduates of Mattersey Hall Bible College. Both are great communicators of the gospel and love to see people getting connected with God. Shelley has a real heart for worship and is also serving as one of the church's worship leaders as well as working at the nursery.

Steve and Shelley have been married for 13yrs and have two daughters, Kristie and Kiea.

Alan & Eunice Lloyd have been a part of St Luke's since being children, in fact Alan's parents and grandparents were founder members of the church. Alan was dedicated in the church in 1947 and in 1966 he married his wife Eunice too!. They have served the church in many different capacities over the years, for the last 13 years they have been a part of the leadership team and Eunice also part of the worship team within the church.

Alan and Eunice have 3 children, all who serve in church leadership in various capacities and 2 of their eight grandchildren are already involved in music/worship.  Alan has ministered in India and Romania as well as regularly preaching in the local church.

Jill McMahon is also a part of the leadership team at St Luke's.  Jill has also had a long relationship with the church and has been a part of St Luke's since she was 16, with her keen eye for detail Jill is the financial director and has often helped other churches out in the area of finance. Jill has 2 children and is married to Mike.
